Alaska's Copper River Valley

This picture shows the Copper river on the left and the Richardson Highway (#4) snaking up into the Chugach Mountains heading south toward Valdez through Thompson Pass. There is great river rafting and fishing on the Tonsina river which cuts across the photo right to left as in flows into the Copper just around the bend from Chitina.
