Jack Bay State Marine Park is just outside the Valdez Narrows and port of Valdez. It's accessable by boat and ...Floatplane - a classy, but expensive option. Jack Bay doesn't have a calving glacier, but does have great old growth boreal forest of hemlock and spruce. There are a few tent platforms and campsites, as well as a "low-boy" latrine.The closest fresh water is available on the northern shore of the bay.
