These fine folks – these Hero Mushers of the Iditarod trail!\u00a0 Why are are watching them as oppose to all the other racers?\u00a0 Do you really need to ask in the case of the Berington Sisters?\u00a0 And, Dan?\u00a0 He is the Patriarch, the GRAND PAPA of the trail.\u00a0 Matt?\u00a0 Well, he was with Dan on the first day and we just sort of picked the rookie up.<\/p>\n

The race is winding down.\u00a0 The winners are doing brodies with their new truck.\u00a0 But… out on the trail our racers are still grinding it out. \u00a0 Still mushing.\u00a0 Still in the wilderness.\u00a0 Still hoping to see Nome and the crowds and the burled arch – the symbols that the race is over and the race is won, for them.<\/p>\n
