Canoe Passage State Marine Park in Prince William Sound

Boswell Bay Beaches State Marine Park is not far from Cordova on Hinchinbrook Island. One of the interesting geologic features here is the evidence of the 1964 Earthquake. The shoreline today is one mile farther into the Gulf of Alaska and you can see the progress the vegetation has made in the more than 40 years since the quake. Also, areas of the park are adjacent to the Copper River Delta State Critical Habitat, which plays a critical role in migration of birds in the Pacific Flyway. Each year the Copper River Delta shorebird festival hosts bird watchers to celebrate these migrating species.

It's accessable by boat and Floatplane.
