South Central Alaska as seen from space. From this view point, you can see the Kenai Penn. on the left. Homer, Alaska is at the end of that yellow road. The protected water surrounded by all those white capped Mountains is Prince William Sound and the surrounding Chugach Mountains. The 3 highway (Parks Highway) sign is in the Mat-Su Valley near Anchorage, Palmer and Wasilla. The 4 highway sign is at Glennallen, Alaska and is in the Copper River Valley.

The entrance to Prince William Sound is Whittier on the West and Valdez on the East. Both towns can accommodate glacier cruises, wildlife viewing trips, sea kayaking, bird watching and, of course, premier Alaskan fishing.
